My Journey
How I Started... How It's Going
At a young age, I knew I wanted to make sports highlights. I started editing as a seventh grader and began using a camera as a sophomore in high school. I didn't take videography seriously until after completing my junior year of college in 2017. I decided to walk away from the game of basketball and focus on what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
From then on, I started my freelance sports filming business in Wichita, my hometown. I would film all football, soccer, baseball, and basketball events whenever I could. I called it the The 20/20 Product. Then I proceeded to graduate from Graceland University in May of 2018, where I also worked as an intern for the school as well. After graduating, I moved to Kansas City where I continued my freelance work, which also led me to do freelance work for Baller TV as well. Then in August 2019, I moved down to Emporia and served as a Graduate Assistant for their athletic department. During my time there, I won a NACMA Award for Best Revenue-Producing Video. In August 2021, I worked my first full time job as The Creative Media Specialist at the University of Tennessee- Martin. In June 2022, I spent a year in Lexington working as a Content Producer for the University of Kentucky Sports Video. After my time at UK, I ended up moving to Murray, Kentucky in July 2023. Now I serve as the Athletics Senior Director of Creative Video for Murray State University.
